Best Skin Care Products

All of us are looking for the best skin care product available. However, it is important to remember that the ideal beauty supply product for one person is quite different than the ideal for another. There are plenty of things to consider before making a purchase. Following are some guidelines to help you determine the best skin care product for your specific needs.

The first thing that comes to mind when we think about beauty supplies is age. A teenager will definitely have different needs than a woman entering menopause. We all go through different phases in life and the best skin care product one year will not be the best the next year. Consider your current needs first.

Next, you need to determine your specific skin type. The best skin care product for a person with very dry skin may be the same brand that suits a person with an oily complexion. The great thing is that one brand will offer a different product for specific skin types.

Don’t forget your lifestyle. A person who spends a lot of time indoors will find that the best skin care product will be different from the best skin care product for a person who spends a lot of time outdoors. There are other factors to consider as well when it comes to lifestyle.

The outdoorsy type who spends many hours on the beach will have different needs than a person who spends many hours on the ski slope. The only thing that we all have in common is the need to protect ourselves from the sun’s rays. The best skin care product on the market for anyone who spends a lot of time outside is sun block.

Lifestyle also involves our habits. Even the best skin care product can’t beat a good night’s sleep and plenty of water and vitamins. You should feed your complexion from the inside out. Your eating, drinking and general lifestyle will show up in your skin no matter what topical solutions you use.

Your diet and exercise routine will also have a profound effect on your complexion. Take care of yourself and you will find that the best skin care product is a cinch to find. It takes very little to address the needs of skin that is healthy from the inside out.

No matter how well we take care of ourselves, we do age. Moisturizer is without a doubt the best skin care product on the market. Daily use will take years off of your complexion.

Dermalogica –Face Mapping

The Dermalogica range has long been a favourite skin treatment OF THE Hollywood stars. Among those praising Dermalogica are Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay is particularly keen on the SPF products from Dermalogica.

You may well have heard of Dermalogica as it is the skincare regime most recommended by professional make-up artists. However, if you are new to their range of products many saloons offer a free “face mapping” session which gives you an opportunity to try out some of the products and se how they react with your skin.

What the Dremalogica face mapping program is actually a facial which includes a deep cleanse, exfoliation, mask, and massage. The whole process takes around 15 minutes and is undertaken by a trained Dermalogica therapist.

In some ways it is like being at the dentists as you lay back with the bright spotlight shining down upon you. There is no escape as the therapist goes over every inch of your face searching for the telltale signs that tell her exactly what treatment will e right for you.

This is a far more details examination than one would normally expect from a beauty therapist but the Dermalogica therapist knows her business and can easily spot which areas of your skin might need specific treatments. But what is good is that the therapist gives you a detailed run down of her findings and will suggest suitable preparations for your particular skin.

In fact the next part of the Face Mapping is to apply some of the Dermalogia treatments to various parts of your face. This is because Dermalogia believe that each persons face is unique and different treatments may be required for different parts of your face.

After a Face Mapping session journalist Helen Tither of the Manchester EDvening News described the treatment “the facial itself, products smell cool and clinical in a satisfying kind of way - that makes you feel they are actually doing you some good.”
